I've only just joined the forum, so I dunno if somebody has already done something similar to this, but I thought what I made this evening is cool so I'd share it anyway

I took the high-res images from http://elinux.org/RPi_Hardware and very carefully resized and aligned them, and then used a bit of opacity to create:


I used an image of a beta board because I don't have my own Pi yet.

Apologies for bumping an old thread, but I've just re-exported all the wallpaper images now that I've fixed the aspect-ratio of the PCB in my GIMP file (which means for the 4:3 images, there's now no border). Same URLs as before...

JamesH's fingerprints are cybernetic - I knew it had to be something like that! So, does the rest of him look like R2D2, C3PO, Robbie the Robot ... or, horrors, a DALEK???
