Has anyone received a key or the tests are over?
It's been a while since I'd ask...

It's been a long time since last update. We will release a formal public version next month, with iOS 9 support. This will be a paid vetsion.

Android mirroring to rPlsy through chromecast protocol will be added soon too.

iOS 9 breaks current AirPlay very badly, and we are one of the very few groups can support iOS 9. Same is true for chromecast,
Stay tuned, will make RPi as a very good steaming device.

Hi,

I just finished configuring AirPlay with audio support. I'm super excited to learn that you guys have made a working beta for mirroring as well. Please share on debanjan.paul@gmail.com

I would be really grateful.

Thanks in advance.

I have everything installed but It does not work. I think that the licensing key I have is not valid. Maybe? Could you send me one?

When I search on my iPhone I can see "rplay (raspberry)", I even can connect to it, but it does nothing... I don't know what I did wrong.. Can somebody help me?

Thanks!!!!

Hey I'm running an iphone 5s with ios 9.1 and I was wondering if I could get an invitation code for the most recent version to test and see if the mirroring is stable enough to work.

Hi, I'm interested in mirroring my macbook pro screen to my panasonic smartTV without AirPlay or AppleTV.
I installed

Code: Select all

sudo dpkg -i rplay-1.0.1-armhf.deb
, when the service starts I see these lines

Code: Select all

ALSA lib pcm.c:2217:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM cards.pcm.front
*** WARNING *** The program 'rplay' uses the Apple Bonjour compatibility layer of Avahi.
*** WARNING *** Please fix your application to use the native API of Avahi!
*** WARNING *** For more information see <http://0pointer.de/avahi-compat?s=libdns_sd&e=rplay>
but in "Display preference" I cannot enable "AirPlay display", only OFF is available...
