I have an issue with the composite output, I'm working with omxplayer on Rapsbian and the 8 RPi are synchronized with a nodeJs script.
When the Rpi are playing the video (for now, it's a 3min loop), I have a random issue happening juste the first 10 seconds of the video. It looks like an interlace/desinterlace issue, I have black stripes moving on screen. As I said, it happens for the 10 first second of the vidéo then disappear... and not every time the video is playing. It's totaly random.
I have tried with H264 and mpeg2 codecs, with PAL resolution (720x576) non-square pixels interlace, then in 800x600 square pixel... with and without uncomment sdtv_mode=2 in the config.txt.... ALways the same issue...
The weird thing is that I have a better image quality when it plays an 800x600 desenterlace video even with the sdtv_mode set to 2.
Do you have any idea?
