Raspberry pi wooden case

Mon Mar 11, 2013 2:10 am

Hi guys, new user here.
I've created a case from two pieces of hardwood, one for the top and one for the bottom. It is held together firmly with 4 small pins which align the case. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to switch it off while it was connected to my tv overnight - no problems, didn't overheat.

I could drill some holes, I guess. Has anyone had issues of overheating in an completely enclosed case?

I dont think there would (wood) be any problems with overheating with this case. Remember that the chips are designed to run in mobile phones, that hardly ever over heat.

Left it running again for about a day with 1/2 a day of interaction and no problems.

It is an exact fit, with no rattle.
