It's a white box… Sorry to say, but that's somewhat disappointing for an 'iceberg'.I would at least expect a faint blue glow coming from it.
Something like the Philips wake-up-light (the light itself as well as the time display, but with blue leds) would be cool and do honor to an iceberg.
Can't you do anything to make the usb socket stick out so ugly? Iceberg aren't perfect squares either
HansH makes a good point. I guess the separation between top and bottom half will have to be adapted to be able to place the pi into it.
And how about the bottom? Won't the flat plastic bottom (I expect from the current pictures) make the cables drag the box all over the pace? At least that will behave like an block of ice
I guess the case clicks shut never to be opened again? When you make the pi into such a 'tamper proof consumer product' (which kinda defeats the -hardware part- purpose of the pi) I would expect a power/reset button of some sort. At least some way to interact with it, other than connecting a keyboard. The GPIO port can accommodate part of this, although a real power or reset button will probably require some cunning circuit to be soldered.
Some holes which you can punch through at will to place leds, buttons, an infrared eye etc. could make the case more multi-purpose/customizable/a toy. But we haven't seen the inside yet, so you can still surprise us
edit: Sorry I may have been carried a way a bit. It' not so much criticism, but more that I got excited by the possibilities, like the whole pi project does to all of us.
