Pimorini EInk Project - Google Calendar

Tue Apr 09, 2019 10:10 pm

I have put together a little script that pulls from Google Calendar that outputs the data on the Pimorini EInk Display. It polls Google regularly and will run forever via a cron job. I have put together a write up on http://emomonkey.github.io and the script is available on https://github.com/emomonkey/pimorini_i ... lecalendar in case someone finds it useful.

This leads me to a question. What have people used as a frame for the Raspberry PI Zero sized display. I want to display this in the living room or kitchen so I want the display to look natural in the room. I don't think the PI Zero is Picture Frame sized so are there any other suggestions on what I could use ?

I never found one so have looked at using a picture frame with a mount out of plastic.

My good lady and I spent a lot of time as amateur photographers so we have a mount cutter

Cases are a serious hole in the Pi world - plenty of basic boxes but not that many for specific screens outside of the official one.
Need Pi spray - these things are breeding in my house...
