Raspberry Pi into iMacG4

I say chaps,
I've got this iMac G4 (swan-neck thing you may recall) which I like the look of, but it's pretty useless these days.
Thought I might rip most of its guts out and put in a Pi!
Would have to interface HDMI to the screen.
Anyone ever try this?

Good luck - putting a pi in an old Mac is better than the fish tank mods.

Currently on eBay there is one in the U.K. for $13 (why in Dollars eBay) sooo tempting...

I have just the big Mac G4 with the curvy handles top & bottom.

HDMI to DVI is perhaps the easiest.
