I’m setting up Screenly to display a slideshow at a nonprofit theater. I did all of the configuration on my Vizio at home and it works perfectly, but when I connected to the Westinghouse TV mounted at the theater it picks up as 480p.
The same Raspberry Pi 3 runs at 1080p on the same TV when I load the Debian desktop, but when I boot into Screenly it’s 480 only. I tried it on another Vizio television and that one works at 1080 also, so it’s some weird combination of Screenly and that particular TV.
I’m not sure whether it is related or not, but the keyboard commands that should load the terminal don’t seem to do anything either.
Anyone know any tricks I might try?
