Polycaprolactone

Thu Oct 26, 2017 7:13 am

I have a battery and a R-PI model W.
I was thinking I could use polycaprolactone (PCL) pellets to craft a case and protect the pi from short circuiting in my bag or pocket.
My question is:

Can I completely seal a raspberry pi W in PCL, or do I need to leave an air gap?

I have seen RPis completely encapsulated in epoxy, so I'm guessing you should be able to. I would make sure it's not overclocked, though. Just to be on the safe side.

Thank you for the reassurance. I'm running from batteries with light load so I have no motivation to over-clock.
