AlexaPi Getting pocketsphinx to recognise phrase

Sat Jun 17, 2017 5:46 pm

Hi. I have been working long and hard on Project Gurtrude (mostly beginner so a lot of trial and error).

I got battery power working. I got proof of concept internet connectivity over tether working and now I have my mobile AlexaPi box.
Still some physical cleaning up to do but it works!

The very last step is to get it to respond to the phrase "Gurtrude"

It seems that this is a very difficult phrase for it to recognise and only does so about 1 in 20 times.
Is there any way at all to get this more recognisable?

I have tried various spellings and also "girt rude" for example but cannot get reliable recognition.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bode.
