My Famicon Game Case

Thu Sep 27, 2012 2:12 am

I thought I would join the fun and post one of the cases I made the other day.

After cracking open a Nintendo Famicon game I noticed that the internal dimensions are the exact same as the RPi. The ethernet port was a little too tall so I had to cut that section out, but after putting a base plate you can barely tell.
(Disclosure, you can totally tell but I still love it, also electric tape is temporary) ;)

Anyone else have any cool homemade cases?

Thanks!

Having a retro game emulator running on the pi with an old video game case or console would be so awesome to have. I 'm picking up a dremel so I can make proper cuts without all the ugly holes in this one. If you end up making any other cool retro cases, I'd love to see how you made out. :)

Dude.... That is awesome! I am going to have to try that case as well when I get the dremel. Good freakin' show.
