Hello!

I'm part of a project group within Engineers Without Borders Sweden (Ingenjörer utan gränser) working on 'Computers for Schools' and have a few questions for you regarding the Raspberry Pi 3.

We aim to create two wired networks of 25 RPis in two classrooms, which will boot using a central server. The setup might be extended later.

Have you ever heard of any similar projects?

If so, we would be grateful for any suggestions and/or feedback you have since the project is proving to be complex; not only on a software and hardware level (maintainability, usability, functionality, user friendliness) but also because of external factors. The site where we will setup the computers is far from the lab environment we are used to; it will be based in Bandja, Cameroon.

Any information will be appreciated, cheers :D

Man, I could only dream of going to a school open minded enough to use RPis as school computers.
I think this could help;
