Hi,
i'm thinking on make a project but i am some doubts on finding the specific hardware.
With the raspberry i want to create a RFID reader. (not a simple reader). A reader able to read multiples tags in simultaneously to a distance until 2 meters (or more).
Yours know some specific hardware able to make this and that is compatible with raspberry?

P.S: i want build the reader. i not want to buy a reader already fully completed.

Well there are plenty of starter kits on the market that includes the bits and bobs you need to get started on understanding the techniques. But you need to understanding that stationary proximity to the reader is what helps you identify the card to read... so trying to read multiple cards from a distance of 2M simultaneously is unlikely to happen.

With UHF RFID reader i can read the long range or i'm wrong?

for example :

this model can read tags on a distance between 1 to 6 meters.

Yes, you can read UHF tags at a distance with multiple tags in the field concurrently. Disambiguating can be fun but is doable.

Yes the hardware capability is there, but you are lacking context to make sense of the random bytes you are picking up? The further you are from the reader the more context you need to make reliable reads.

Sorry, i didn't understand. You can be more specific.
