Case with LCD and with room for small GPIO board

Thu Nov 10, 2016 11:19 am

I'm just about to buy a touchscreen, but I need a case for it which would enclose a pi 3, together with a small board with a few small components (2 x resistors, 2 x optocouplers plus output wiring) plus room to connect this to the GPIO pins. It does not have to sit on the GPIO pins, just able to connect to about 5 of them.

Can anyone recommend a case which would hold this?

Thanks,

CJ

You can use this one i.e. https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/smartipi-touch

It has some space behind the display

Sorry, yes it is the official touchscreen I will be buying. The pimoroni seems closest to what I need, but I'd prefer a larger box at the back to enclose any, albeit very small, add-ons I'm using.

thanks,

CJ
