piworks case a dud?

Tue Aug 14, 2012 1:02 am

we brought a case from here:
http://piworks.co.uk/piworks/raspberry-pi-case.html

Turns out that once assembled the PI actually still moves around inside the case. I emailed the suggested support email sales@piworks.co.uk which bounced...

My recommendation is dont buy of these cases! Any comments?

Can't you double sided sticky-tape it down? Inside the case? Or stick some little guides in there that hold it firmly in place?

The beauty of this whole RPi thing is that you can fiddle with it. Do what you want. Experiment.

I'm making a wooden (pie) shaped case for mine that i'll post up once I get my RPi and can make more progress :D Can't wait.

The "complainer" joined, made his first post and doesn't seem to have been back to respond, but he did come back an hour after posting to look. Obviously not that important.

Had one of these for a few months now. The fit is perfect and it has travelled in my backpack to n from work, still looks good. I'd recommend it if ur looking for a well made acrylic style case.
