Need screen help. Total circuitry NOOB!

Mon Aug 13, 2012 9:15 pm

I was wondering if there was a screen that I could easily connect to the raspberry PI. I am hoping that there is an option that could just connect to one of the provided ports instead of any of the GPIO pins. If there are any screens out there that would fit that requirement I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me! :D Also I would like to know the power usage for that so that I can figure out how to connect it. I am a total NOOB at circuitry so I would really like it if I could order it so that I do not have to assemble it, although a few soldering connections is no big deal. Thanks again!!!

The Raspberry Pi Foundation are woking on a small screen. You need to wait, because the screen drivers aren't open source. Broadcom will need to supply a firmware update and some drivers for the sceen.
