i want to make my own case but i don't know how to secure the raspberry to the case, i was thinking about magnets but i don't know if that would be good to the device.
any suggestions?

I used Sugru just as you would use bluetack. See www.sugru.com
It is a superb product and I have repaired the broken cases of accessories with it.

I mounted my Pi on small wooden rails. I just cut a slot with a wood saw for the PCB to sit in. Just glue or screw the rails to your case. See my case pics here http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 40&t=10078
