DSD (Digital Speech Decoder)

Tue Mar 08, 2016 10:48 am

I have finally built DSD on my Pi 2b+ and it 'appears' to be working, albeit barely:

An error occured while using the portaudio input stream
Error number: -9981
Error message: Input overflowed
Sync: -X2-TDMA mod: C4FM inlvl: 19% src: 0 tg: 0 slot0 [SLOT1] VOICE e:========R====R===E====R=====R=================== R=====R====R

I am running Darkice and Icecast on the same Pi, however stopping both made no change, I am still getting errors like:

Error message: Input overflowed
Sync: -X2-TDMA mod: QPSK inlvl: 157% src: 0 tg: 0 [SLOT0] slot1 VOICE e:====R=====R========R=========================

It has been suggested elsewhere that DSD is saturating a CPU core, which could be causing DSD to fall behind. However I do not believe that DSD is a single-threaded application?
