Basic Case (Corel Draw)

Tue Jul 24, 2012 8:28 pm

Hi there,

My names Samuel but you can just call me Sam and I'm new to the forum so be nice :D (I'm sure you will)

So after a few months of waiting I finally manged to order a raspberry pi and it's been dispatched! I'm extremely excited and can't wait to get my hands on it. Like many of you on the forums I have been looking through the cases and there are many many fantastic ones, So now I also need to make my own case! Quite luckily I have access to a laser machine and will be using either perspex or chipboard to make the case. The laser machine uses Corel Draw and I was hoping that someone may have already created a basic box in Corel draw that has been measured to exact specification. I hope it is not to rude of me to ask if I could use it to create one if someone has already created one.

Look most forward to the replies.

Sam

Hi Sam,

why not using an old VHS-C cassette case like i did (see my post here: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 40&t=12290).
It's a cool transparent case fitting perfectly for the RasPi and you have just to mill in some cut-outs for the connectors.

What do you say?
