Re: Connecting R.P to a cheap touch tablet

I know there's tons of other topics that have roughly the same idea, but no one puts it on the table: "Buy a cheap 70$ HDMI android tablet from DealExtreme, and connect it to the Raspberry Pi"
WILL IT WORK?
OR MAYBE A BETTER IDEA..? :) :o

I might be misunderstanding what you're idea is, but a tablet PC with HDMI would be an output port, not an HDMI input. I don't think you could hook the screen up to it without some extensive modding.

Well it might be possible to somehow interface r-pi with lcd(from hdmi or composite) and salvage case, touch sensor and battery.

Other possibility would be to use vnc, nx or something similar.
