Hello, I'm new to the Raspberry Pi Forums, but I joined because I have questions about using a TFT LCD display I found online. Here is a link to the display:

I've come up with a few potential methods, and I need opinions on the feasibility/possibility of each:
1) Finding an HDMI controller for the panel and using that. Appears to be the simplest, but I can't find any anywhere.
2) Making my own HDMI controller or HDMI converter. I have no idea how this would work, but these are the controllers provided:
http://www.newhavendisplay.com/nhd50800 ... -5597.html (8-bit input)
http://www.newhavendisplay.com/nhd50800 ... -5599.html (16-bit input)
3) Using the DSI connector. I have heard that this is not yet supported, however, and I wouldn't know how to wire it anyway.
The LCD also includes a touch panel, but that's another story (GPIO, I'm assuming).
My experience is in programming and not in hardware, so I'd appreciate any pointers. If necessary, I could write the needed drivers.
