Bluetooth / Wifi Connectivity Issue

Sat Jan 13, 2018 8:47 pm

Hey everyone,
I have a small connectivity issue i was hoping someone might be able to help me out with.

Currently i have an Rpi3 controlling a home brewery set-up that uses a program called CraftbeerPi to control gpio/ssr's. This works wonderfully.

The trouble i'm having is there are 2 wireless hydrometers that are out of range of the RPi3 and I need to connect them. Re-locating the RPi3 is not an option unfortunately.
Hydrometer (A) transmits its data via bluetooth
Hydrometer (B) transmits it's data via wifi

My question is: Can a pi zero w be installed midway to transmit both wifi & bluetooth signals to the RPi3? The zero will be connected to wifi & can also be connected via usb if needed.

Thanks
