Wall plug project box

Fri Jan 05, 2018 7:52 am

I’m in the process of making some home automation sensors for home.
The first will be a PIR sensor.
I want to avoid having a wall plug AND project box, additionally I want the sensor at the same height as the wall plug it will be powered from.

Does anyone have a suggestion of a project box that has a built in power supply and has an AU plug on it?
Below is sort of what I need but any better recommendations would be appreciated.

Mixing mains voltages inside a project box is very dangerous (to you - other people - and your actual project!)

Here is an idea I used to create a portable 3G/4G access point, using Pi 1 B, two small, black, plastic boxes, glued one to the other, psu 220/5 V 2A inside the smaller one and a wall power plug adapter (chinese to european standard).
Hope this'll help you. ;)
