Hello. I am trying to get some of the OpenMAX IL demos in /opt/vc/... going on a minimalist distro called 'Minibian'. I have installed the userland code and compiled everything but, in particular; hello_audio.bin does not work. OMX_Init returns a non-zero error code. Does the code in these demos depend on any kernel modules? That's the only thing I can think of to stop it working.
