Samsung Galaxy S3

Hi i am thinking of buying a Samsung S3 mobile phone ,i know thats last years model ,but its all i can afford ,and i would like to know if anyone has used this mobile with the raspberry pi and what sort of things would be possible using them both together in some way ,best wishes Brian. :)

This might not be the right forum section, but anyway...

The S3 is Android, and the Play Store (Android app market) has a lot of apps you can use with your Raspberry Pi. Things like:

Text Editors (DroidEdit) - with Python syntax highlighting
SSH tools (ConnectBot)
Virtual control of GPIO
and many many more

Go for it, the S3 is a great handset, and the S4/S5 didn't add much more so it doesn't feel that old still.

Brilliant just what i wanted to hear , will have a look for one latter ,i already had a S4 but the screen did not last too long ,so its the S3 for me ,thanks very much my friend, Brian
