Need help installing avidemux on the raspberry pi board

Thu Dec 05, 2013 5:45 pm

I would greatly appreciate if somebody can provide me some guidance on putting avidemux on the raspberry pi board. I can't find avidemux package in any of the repositories available to raspberry pi project, even after I added the "special" media repository so many articles referring to. I tried to build avidemux 2.6.6 from source, but even after making the build to succeed (which did require a few code changes which makes me think something is not completely right) it complained that the .deb installation packages which got created are for the armel architecture instead of armhf.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely

Hi,

I got the same problem. I allready added the repository http://www.deb-multimedia.org/ but when I use "apt-get install avidemux" I got the message that there is no installation candidate.

Anybody got a solution for me? I'm new to Linux/Raspbian and would be happy if someone could help me :)
