command line app for playing mp3/aac files?

Fri Nov 15, 2013 9:57 pm

Any advice on an app that can play mp3 and aac files? I also need it to handle streaming via http. I tried mpg123 but it doesn't handle some of the files I'm working with as they are in an mp4 container.

Thanks.

Hey everyone....Im new to RPi so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I am working on a project...
I want to write a program that plays wav files when certain GPIO pins are pulled low or high.

I have the files loaded and can play them each using "sudo aplay /home/pi....." command however I do not know how to write the code in geany to play in a program.

I'm using python in raspian....

Thanks for any help.
