Wed Jul 17, 2013 5:08 pm

Dear all,

has anyone tried to connect a Logilink USB 2.0 Video Grabber to the Raspberry Pi?

Especially to take pictures from the video input?
Which software will i need to take the pictures? I think it will work with ffmpeg!?

Thanks

I looked at stuff like that, but decided against buying anything; you never know whether it would work or not and my bet was that it wouldn't.

Besides why would you want that? You can display your Pi's desktop on Windows and then just print screen it, or use screen capture software like fraps to take video of the Pi in action! See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkvHHkWmKSY

Hi,

i don't want to take a picture of the raspberrys screen. I have a camera with an analoge output (the yellow cinch connector). From that i want to take frequently pictures, maybe every 10 seconds. Therefore i need such a grabber.
