I found this site while looking for an inexpensive alternative to some haunted house props, and I think this may work. I'm just looking for a little advice before I make the time and money investment.
What I need to do is play a video and at a certain moment in that video trigger an air cannon that propels a spray of mist into my audience for a horror dinner show that I am doing. I know this is possible with an animatronic controller that costs over $800. I really don't have that kind of money to spend on a show that I do only once or twice a year. Ideally there would be a looping video prior to starting the video that triggers the air cannon, go back to that looping video. If you need a full detail of what I need to do let me know, but any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
