Csound and GPIO pins

Wed Jan 30, 2013 12:13 am

Hi!

I'm intrigued about the possibilities of running Csound from within the Raspberry Pi.. In particular, building a hardware interface to control csound instruments - or to switch between then, and the like..

I was wondering - would it be possible to access the RPi's GPIO pins from within CSound? Possibly using the python opcodes?

Or the other way round - using Python to start/stop CSound scores.. I read about CSoundVST; though despite it's claim to be able to do this, it seems to be a tricky one to run on linux.

Best,

Carl

Hi Carl,

Have you made any progress on this front?
