Twitch streaming with Auvidea B101 and Raspi 3 B+?

Fri Jun 21, 2019 5:57 pm

I found this walkthrough on hackster.io to create a twitch streaming device with a Rasberry Pi and either the B101 or B102 modules from Auvidea:

https://www.hackster.io/tinkernut/raspb ... tic-190a15

He uses a Raspi 0 W with B102 and raspivid to stream but I have a Raspi 3 B+ and am trying to figure out if I go ahead and buy the B101 if I will be able to get that to twitch stream at all? I saw some posts in another thread which seemed to indicate that raspivid had limited support and capabilities with the B101 but that people had success with yavta. I am fine with 720p and don't need 1080p but would like to be able to stream it to twitch if possible.

Additionally, the hackster.io instructions mention there is a way to connect the audio but it was more or less left as an exercise to the reader. Has anyone gotten audio to work between a B101 and Raspi?

Thanks in advance for your help and sorry for asking this in the other thread where it was somewhat off-topic.
