Volume disabled on boot up

Tue Jun 18, 2019 12:52 pm

Hi all.

I have successfully got a bluetooth speaker connected to my Pi 3 B+ and using abcde to rip CD's and Mopidy to play them.

However everyone I reboot, the volume control is disabled and audio out is not connected to bluetooth. My .asoundrc file contains the following:-

pcm.!default {
type plug
slave.pcm {
type bluealsa
device "10:B7:F6:01:C7:EB"
profile "a2dp"

ctl.!default {
type bluealsa

If I open the Audio preferences select Also and click set as default, the Volume button is then enabled and I can select the bluetooth speaker as the audio output.

How do I configure this so that the bluetooth connection is maintained after a reboot.
