lightshowpi and pi zero w

Hi everyone,

This may be a really stupid question, but I've seen a few people using a pi zero W for their Christmas light displays. My question is, how do you output sound when the zero does not have an audio jack? My only guess would be to use the bluetooth capabilities along with a BT speaker. I am wanting to create a headless system that automatically boots into lightshowpi and starts playing. My worry is that it's going to be flaky trying to auto connect to my BT speaker. With it not having a monitor connected, I don't want connecting to the speaker to be a headache every time I reboot. I was able complete this project fairly easily with a pi3 as I just plugged the speaker audio cable into the pi's audio jack, but it has since taken up a full-time job powering my magic mirror =)

Also, I see that usb sound cards can be purchased dirt cheap on ebay...would that be another option? I'm not concerned about crystal clear sound output for this project, as long as the audio sounds relatively decent.
