Wed Mar 14, 2018 12:59 pm

Hello,
i am trying to get decent sound in and out of my CM3 so i am looking for audio codecs that have raspberry pi support.
I need to know if there are drivers that are for WM8731. it would be a huge help if you could give a link since i cant find any.
also any other audio codec chips that have good driver support.

Thankyou.

Searching for WM8731 on the github Raspberry Linux repository gets lots of returns.
I used the CS4271 codec on my own board and it works fine. It is a simplified version of the Super Audio Board. The drivers are available via rpi-update but will soon be in the main distribution.

Codec discussions mainly happen in the "Interfacing (DSI, CSI, I2C, etc.)" forum on this board.
