"B101 HDMI to CSI-2 bridge" and 480p max input

Wed Feb 14, 2018 9:45 pm

Hello,

I am using the "B101 HDMI to CSI-2 bridge" from Auvidea. I have an odd setup where I am running my Xbox into the Pi through the Auvidea device.

What I have noticed is the Xbox is auto switching from 1080p down to 480p when I am viewing the Xbox over HDMI on the Pi. I was wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction on resolving this type of issue.

I have just started to dive into it but I am not sure if it is a limitation on the actual bridge or if it just a setting on the Pi that I can change.

Thank you for any help in advance!

If you're using raspivid, then the simple answer is you will not get further support. The firmware support was demo code that others are making use of.
