Alsa lib error

Wed Jan 24, 2018 8:12 pm

I'm getting these ALSA lib errors when trying to use pyaudio.
I know my mic works as I can live stream audio through gstreamer.
Can anybody explain to me why i'm getting these issues:

There are a lot of difficulties working with ALSA, but most of the warnings were irrelevant and common (unknown PCM cards...). If you want to silence them you can edit them out of the ALSA config file.

As for Jack server, try starting it first. In an environment with Python 2 (assuming it's installed):

jack_control start

Return to “Graphics, sound and multimedia”
