Need engineer's audit of my project requirements - video wall

Wed Sep 20, 2017 8:29 pm

I'm looking to create a video wall not unlike this...

But made up of miniature 18-bit 2.2" TFT displays like this...

and in a 16:9 ratio configuration so I can play 1920x1080 or 1280x720 videos at 60FPS across the entire arrangement; not per display.

I'm thinking the size of my matrix will be 3x3 (9 panels) to 4x4 (16 panels), but I don't believe a single Rasp Pi can drive all these at my required specs, and power consumption is a factor as I'd like the entire setup portable.

I need a recommendation on a single board, with an SD card as storage, and battery powered that can most efficiently run all this

So you're asking on a dedicated Raspberry Pi forum if anyone can recommend an alternative SBC that can handle your project?
