wireless message board

I have no idea how to programe using Pi, I dont have one currently.

I need some help please

I am trying to set up a wireless message board using a 19" monitor at my mums house. I want to be able to display any message on that screen from my PC or phone anywhere in the world so she can read it. Is something like this possible with the Pi.

The key here is that I should be able to write a message from anywhere away from her house and it will be displayed on the monitor.

You could create a message board in PHP and host it on a web server.
Then, just set the Pi to constantly be on the webpage and refresh every thirty seconds or so.
