I found some help on another thread where someone removed the IC and soldered a jumper to pin 2. I did the same and tested the LCD with 5V in and the screen never turned on. http://s20.postimg.org/nxs4pycwt/desolder_IC.jpg
Am looking to see if anyone else has used this particular screen and get it to run off 5v.
