Is anyone using Volumio on a B+

Fri Aug 28, 2015 8:40 am

Hi,
I have tried Volumio on a B+ and can't get any audio out.
I am using the jack output from the B+ connected to an amplifier.

The lead and amplifier are fine because I have used a raspbian image and generated output from sonic PI.

The Volumio image is ok because when installed in my old model B I get audio output from the Jack.

When installed in the B+ I can select songs, add them to a playlist and play them back but no audio out.

Very confused, what am I missing ?

You need afaiaa version 14.1 or later for B+, version 15 is current:

Hi,
Thanks for the response.

when I click on the link the file "Looking for the latest version? Download Volumio1.55OdroidC1+.img.zip (328.0 MB)"

does not appear to be a Raspberry PI image, Android?

and the image in the folder 1.5 dated 2015-02-07 is the one I have been using.

Should I be looking at something else on the link?

cheers

Hem, I am showing my age thought afaiaa was a Linux driver that needed updating and not shorthand for As Far As I Am Aware!!!!!!

I am using the latest version so do not know what the problem is.
