HDMI VGA Cloned Displays

I have added the Gert 666 adapter on the Pi2 and need some help getting it working properly. I have spent hours searching to find the answer but wasn't successful. Im hoping someone can help. I have the vga 666 working on the one display, but the hdmi goes blank when i boot to the vga monitor. How can i clone the monitors so i have both working. Im very new to linux and 60 yrs old, so please give as much info as possible. thanks in advance.
