Pi as a music server - how to create playlists?

Mon Mar 02, 2015 4:00 am

I want to use a pi as a central music server and am looking at RuneAudio and MusicBox. I have successfully installed and run both systems separately on a pi for evaluation but am having trouble understanding how to create playlists for them.

At the moment all my music will be on the pi SD card or a usb stick. How can I create separate playlists that I can select through the system interfaces, for example an evening playlist or a soothing playlist etc.?

Thanks.
