BerryIMU Kickstarter

Hi, just letting you now that we are in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign for BerryIMU,

BerryIMU is specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi and is designed to take some of the complexity out of IMUs and to try and make them more enjoyable to use. BerryIMU includes the latest and greatest sensor ICs.

BerryIMU is an inertial measurement unit, or IMU, that measures and reports on velocity, orientation and gravitational forces, using a combination of an accelerometer, gyroscope and a magnetometer.

We are aiming to make the use of these sensors fun and enjoyable. We will have documentation explaining the "ins and outs" as well as complete code if you just want to jump right in.

You can see our first guide here, titled Create a Digital Compass with the Raspberry Pi – Part 1 – “The Basics”

The above image is BerryIMU being and TFT to make a digital compass on a Raspberry Pi
This is part 1 of a multipart series on how to use a digital compass(magnetometer) with your Raspberry Pi. We are working on part 2 which introduces tilt compensation.

All code will eventually be found here;

3 days to go, and $240 away from $6500 stretch goal... (Temp & pressure sensor added to board)

Nice exciting finish ;)

This sounds very promising especially with pressure and temperature sensor.
But nowhere on the pictures I can see a pin for the data ready interrupts from the sensors.
This is especially important for the gyro/accel to make sure you get all values.
Are there any plans to add those?

Yep. we are looking at adding the interrupt and SDO pins
