TIAO Smart Sprinkler Controller

If anyone is looking for raspberry pi based Sprinkler controller, we have made them available to the public.

The software is compatible with OpenSprinkler Pi (however, need to set extension board to 1, since openSprinkler Pi only has 8 zones, our board comes with 16 zones by default)

We will also be releasing our open source controller software, very soon.

Compare to the traditional sprinkler controller, it has the following benifits:

• Total of 16 stations (or 1 master station + 15 stations), can expend to unlimited stations using our extension board

• Supports rain sensor
• Open source software - which means you can add your own function to the controller!

• Status LEDs (power, Pi power, system on, system running)

Compare to Open Sprinkler Pi:

• Comes with 16 zones (vs Open Sprinkler Pi's 8 zones)
• System ON/OFF hardware button (vs no ON/OFF button on Open Sprinkler Pi)

I do not see a RTC (Real Time Clock) on the Board, did I miss it? Are you planning on any updates to the board?

Which versions of Raspberry Pi work with this?
I tried with a B+ and it does not turn on the zones.
Is there a log file to look at?

The new version now supports raspberry Pi B, Pi B+, Pi 2 B, P3 B and zero.
