Wireless communication other than putty

Mon May 05, 2014 11:12 am

I am wanting to control my RPi remotely by laptop PC, but putty doesn't work because it comes up that connection has been denied by my network.
Any other programmes I could use to remotely control the RPi that aren't putty?

Putty is not the problem. The problem is with your network configuration, the set up of your R-pi, or something that you are doing wrong. Either provide detailed information about your set up, what you are doing and what errors you see, or search for ssh problems.

It's not like bam. Go onto Raspian, grab your raspberry pi's ip, then in the terminal, type: raspiconfig

then enable ssh

AND THEN.... Select the SSH option on putty. put ur raspberry pi's ip in and it should work!

However, I never did this myself, but am planning to!
