Just looking for a little advice. I tried following a few tutorials to get motion to work with the foscam wireless ip cam I bought with no success. I couldn't get the pi to recognize the foscam. Zoneminder is looking like the next route for me and I was wondering if this is the BEST solution at the moment. I only have the one IP cam at the moment. I will be ordering another of the same type, plus two more rpi w camera board for areas where I only need the fixed view.
I am using the rpi model B (raspbian) and the foscam fi8910w for the moment
