RC Car (controlled with RPI)

Mon Nov 11, 2013 8:52 pm

Hi,

I hope someone can help me, I've been looking into using the RPI to control an RC Car.
So far I've come up with the problem of not being able to find an add-on board that controls both a DC Motor (bi directional for reverse and acceleration) and a servo motor with PWM and I assume if I want the RC car to go at different speeds ill need it for the DC motor aswell?

Originally I wanted to be able to control it from a webpage, but struggled with being able to edit the GPIO pins from the a webpage and stream the RPI camera module to a webpage. So far I've had to be content with controlling the RPI from an SSH session on another pc and streaming the camera to the other pc with vlc.

If anyone can help my with any of this or give some advice or if I've got something wrong let me know and if you don't understand or want more info on it just let me know.

Many Thanks!
