Hi,
I can output any format for my xml file. But eeml is a standardized format. Would be a good idea to use it also in freedomotic. pls look at: http://www.eeml.org/

Thanks for the link.
I'll study the documentation.
Freedomotic doesn't support/adopt a specific format. We use the data given by manufacturers. For example xml, json or snmp.

Hi,
sorry for delay. I studied the eeml standard.
I think that a good solution can be an xml file as the following
<device id=PKI...">
<meter id="2">
<name>Kitchen thermostat</name>
<type>thermostat</type>
<value>22.0</value>
<unit>C</unit>
</meter>
</device>
This way we can parse the file, detect how many boards (if you can use multiple) are connected and for each of them how many sensors with their values.
From our point of view we can detect the type of object (thermostat) and an unique address as
PKI..:2.
Another example is this http://hwg-pwr.hwg.cz/values.xml

Hi we have a first draft of debian package. You can download it from http://freedomotic.com/content/download
You can find a brief tutorial at http://code.google.com/p/freedomotic/wi ... llOnDebian
To manage a repository is difficult. Do you know if is it possible to add a package to the raspberry repo?

Hello,
Is it possible to configure to make it work with 433 MHz transmitter and receiver connected to RPi gpio?
I actually use the transmitter to control my remote switches Elro and Intertechno, just wondering if it can be used for these too.

Thank you,
dk

Hi all,
we are working on Freedomotic multilanguage/localization support.
We need your help to translate the software in different language and make it universal.
We are using Transifex. If you want to contribute please reply or join the project on Transifex.
You can propose also a language not listed yet. The link is https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/fr ... ce-buildi/
Of course we need more people for each language for revisions.

Thanks

PD: we have already versions for English, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.

Hello,
after a long period of braimstorming, work, testing the new Freedomotic version is ready. From the previous release we introduced a new codename based on famous books, movies and cartoons robots.
Now is the time of Bender, the robot character in the animated television series Futurama. (to learn more

Thanks to the development team for its effort and to users that have contributed with their suggestions, testing, reporting.
There is a lot of work to do, many many features for the next release.
We need the help of all, so join our community and contribute to the development.

Hi all
Freedomotic 5.6 Commander RC2 is out and can be downloaded from http://sourceforge.net/projects/freedom ... p/download
We fixed some bugs and in particular included the first draft of a web client.
After starting Freedomotic go to http://localhost:8090 in your browser and digit admin/admin as username/password.
You can access from another pc in your network by changing in the previous URL "localhost" with the ip of the machine running Freedomotic.
The web client doesn't have all features included in the java frontend but they can run at the same time.
If you want to use only the web client please remove the folder "frontend-java" under plugins/devices.
We need your help in different areas:
- testing (not all browsers are 100% html5-compatible)
- functionality
- usability/UX
- graphics/layout
...

So report your comments/issues on https://goo.gl/CC65By
If you want to contribute take a look at the source code https://github.com/freedomotic and at our tracking system http://freedomotic.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issues

Stay tuned!
