Webcam Interface

Tue Mar 05, 2013 6:27 pm

Hi,

I have recently discovered a TCM 234282 USB webcam. My aim is to use it in one of my Raspberry Pi projects, but before I do, I would simply like to get it working.

Does anybody know of a client which I can download which will allow me to use this particular webcam.

Thanks
Matt

If it's supported then fswebcam should be able to snap you a image.

If you plug in webcam it will likely inform you of the chipset used, on the command line type lsusb and press enter.
