Hi Folks, i'v read some topics about rasp and cnc, one it's' about linuxcnc but i'm asking, why we dont use sanguinololu porting for raspberry?
Sanguinololu it's' software wrote for arduino, but it's wrote in C and i dont beleive that it's to hard port on raspberry, we cant wrote some sort of driver from syste to usb to drive stepper motor, we can use directly GPIO or i2c if we want use one stepper with this kind of interface, a very big project could be using trinamic chips drived via i2c but in this case we will build a close CNC system instead of a open system that can use GPIO like parallel pin to drive clock and direction to stepper driver card.
